02: A New Idea
There is a lot of fun happening on my side of this new journey, stories and formatting, sure, but more importantly, MERCH! Now a lot of people might think me crazy for having no book sales, no site traffic, and making sweaters for the fall, but here me out. I need to keep the motivation to keep going, I need to keep my head in the game, and to do so, I embrace a lot of the creative directions I stumble across, for example, MERCH!
Take this little guy for example, just one of the handful of hand-drawn designs to celebrate this Autumn and the start of this amazing project. So what is that guy? That is a bogg, half cat, half bird, and one of the most fun parts about the Eirimov Universe. Boggs can be found all over Fernaea, the home planet in this universe, as they have adapted to many climates to accompany Humans and Lythes as domesticated partners.
Along with this line of clothing, I have great news regarding one of my recently finished project, “Flowers in Juyn”
“Flowers in Juyn” is a light tragedy novella, taking place in the early parts of the Solar Era on Fernaea. Featuring an ex-professor Cecil Byrd, driven mad by his spiraling fall into the hands of the drug Cyval, and his gardener robot Juyn, the story tells a tale of a man trying to have it all, but we all know what happens when hubris gets to be to large of a force. Soon I will be able to reveal the cover art for this novella, and announce its release date for its first publication!
Stay tuned for more news, don’t forget to add yourself to the email list, and if you want to support a small artist, a coffee always helps.
Love and Light,
Jackson Smoke
